The writing is so atmospheric, I felt like I was in the clouds. This book opens with a very clearly unique fantasy world, explained in a way that is enticing and not boring or academic. World building is so important in fantasy and I really like how it is done here. I fellin love with the main character within two pages and I almost don't want to keep reading because I know something (or many somethings) tragic is going to happen to her. I definitely want to read the rest of this book and see what the author's main points about gender and feminism are!
