After seeing the first look, I think that this book will appeal to fans of The Handmaid's Tale and The Grace Year. I haven't read the author's previous book, and this book looks like it won't be a feminist tale and talk about real life social issues through a dystopian lens. I can't wait to keep reading to find out what happens next. The only thing I didn't like about the book is that the cover looks sort of old-school, and I would have expected something a bit more dynamic. I'm still interested in reading the rest of the book though.
