I fell in love with the cover first, then the first line, then the remainder of the first paragraph. The writing is excellent, and creepy, and it set the sort of tone I love in a book. Also love isolated settings. When it comes to speculative fiction like this, I can go either way depending on how the story goes, so I hope it's great.
