I wasn't a fan of the plot or writing style. I found the writing to be frustratingly vague, rather than pulling me in I found myself to be bored and wishing the author would just get to the point. I'm also quite confused about the world where this takes place. Is it meant to be Earth with a little magic (or something else that makes people disappear), or somewhere else?
