I loved the dark mystery that was brewing under the surface of this book. You can feel the tension in the conversations and the way the occupants of Elsewhere treasured each moment as if it were going to be the last. I can tell this is going to be such a reflective read because I am a mother myself. I loved the cover, I think the colors reflected a tension between the green world of Elsewhere and the flames of red that are growing and threatening to turn the world into a dull landscape. I can’t wait to read more!
