The initial glimpse at this book makes me think this one could go either way. It is such an intriguing premise and the writing is lyrical but that kind of buildup could end up being so disappointing if the story just isn't as well drawn and there was not enough in the pages to convince me either way. Am I curious? Yes. Convinced? No.
