So I'm not a huge fan of YA, but I actually really loved this book! Veronica and Sawyer had good chemistry, the supporting characters were good, and the plot was entertaining. I liked how there was the ghost aspect of the plot, but it wasn't completely far fetched. It was explained at the end. I really liked how there were a few heavier topics covered (brain tumor, addiction, alcoholism, death of parent, divorce) and I think they were covered well.
The romance was slow burn-ish, but cute, and focused more on the relationship/friendship than the sexual side, which was nice. I felt connected to both characters, and wanted a HEA for them! I admit, I did have to read the last few pages to see what happened in order to continue reading, but I have a personal connection to brain tumors, otherwise I wouldn't have had to do that.
Anyway, I definitely enjoyed this book and I am going to look up other titles by this author!
