I know everyone says don’t judge a book by it’s cover, but I usually pick up books based on their covers. And this cover was stunning, and the summary with the ghosts seemed really cool as well. I wasn’t expecting too much romance, but this had soooo much romance. This could honestly just be in the romance category, it doesn’t need the fantasy aspect.
That being said I didn’t love the relationship that much, or the guy for the matter so that definitely brought down the rating for me. In my opinion the relationship was way too overdone, mushy, and just over the top. There were some moments where I thought they were very cute. But most of the time I wasn’t feeling it.
I think I’m honestly too old for this book, the me in 8th grade would have loved this. The me now isn’t in that stage of life. All that being said, this is not a bad book. It has good writing and a decent plot!
