Wow! What a great read. Two teenagers Veronica and Sawyer are both struggling with major issues. Two very unlikely friends with lots of emotions and turmoil in their lives and maybe a budding relationship. Veronica is dying from a brain tumor and sees ghosts. Seeing her dead mother is what is keeping her going, now that she is alone at school.Sawyer is an adrenaline junkie, getting a high from diving off cliffs. All because his mom is a divorced alcoholic and he is constantly caring for her and his sister. Once Veronica and Sawyer start a thesis on the existence of ghosts, things get a little more complicated. I was hooked with this book from page one, enjoyed every page of it. Just could not put it down, I was very afraid of how it might end! But was not disappointed with it.
