Loved the different characters
This books reminds me of The Breakfast club- in that the characters all walk to line of high school stereotypes but each one has a significant “thing” that makes them stand out. Sutherland, the a typical boy with money who is hiding the cause of his broken arm. Veronica- the witty girl in love with a boy- but self described as short and fluffy like a kitten, etc.
The placement of the story is rather new- an old town close by a TB sanitarium. The pacing is very comfortable- like thoughts progressing in your head, it follows a logical order. I started in Chapter 2 or 3, so I was frustrated that 5 characters are mentioned in the first paragraph yet weren’t developed or explained (maybe they were in Chapter 1).
I’m really excited to finish!
