This review was coming for a long time, COVID happened and life happened and I never got to read and review some of the books that I got as ARCs and this was one of them.

The book started slow for me, I was a lot in the heads of the characters and that was a drag. It picked up later on, but I think there was much more potential in exploring the relationships between oh so many characters that we meet in the book, that were superficially and only very surface level touched.

The storyline itself left me confused. It was very unclear what was going on, and till this point I am left to ask... so was this real or not? Without spoiling much, but the fact that we were building a relationship of the main characters around this activity and then we don't even see the end, a conclusion of it, and it is left like that without playing any significant role or providing answers was disappointing.

However, I still finished so that's a win!
