I have read all of Katie McGarry's books and not once have I been disappointed. This new one will be no exception. From the phrase on the cover, "Everyone has secrets..." My attention was caught. The idea that two strangers with nothing in common can meet, and make it work, even with all their differences is astonishing. Veronica sounds like a luggage that see needs to resolve but it pains her to let go of the past. Sawyer seems like an interesting character. Whatever this addiction is, from the summary it doesn't seem like he would or even thinks about quitting. The cover of the book grabs the attention of the reader. Its pretty to they eyes and in my opinion, the blur on the edge and the name itself, "Echoes Between Us" sends a message of the characters being at odds or lost about what to do or how to solve their conflict.
