This is the First Impression that I actually wish was LONGER. Usually, I roll my eyes at the 80 pages manifesto of some science fiction book that doesn't my interest. This 11 pages, though, really wasn't enough of an appetizer. is this book a romance, a thriller, a paranormal romance, a murder mystery? I have no idea.
What IS there, however, is written well and held my interest. I've been gravitating toward YA books a lot more lately because they all share a very similar theme: young adults have very little else to think about except for their emotions, and I love a good emotional book.
I'm assuming from the First Impression that the protagonist will work with Sawyer on her thesis, and I'm assuming (and hoping for) some sparks.
The cover does nothing for the book. It's just a girl with lipstick.
