This First Impression is so short, it's hard to get into the plot; I honestly learned more from reading the publisher's blurb. I'm quite intrigued by the first two paragraphs and know a bigger and better story lies within this novel, but I can't get a feel for it from simply the first chapter. I don't usually read YA so I'm unfamiliar with the author.
