The premise of this story attracted me like a magnet. The tension between the two groups of friends, as well as the struggles of the characters, pulled me in immediately. I wish that the excerpt was a lot longer. But I cannot wait to see the plot develop and watch as Veronica and Sawyer fight their own personal battles, eventually fighting them together. I also think it will be a great book to read around Halloween because of these chilling, paranormal aspect of the story.
