I like this sample, this seems like a quick and approachable read. The perspective is direct and has a charm to it that has me curious about the characters and how they'll grow. Also curious about the romance, it seems like friends-to-lovers and might be cute, but I also like that the premise sounds dark so it could go either way or have some depth to the proceedings. Reads like a journal, and the cover is really pretty.
