With a short excerpt being all I am provided, I don't like the main character or her buddies. The group of three hold contempt for a "popular" kid that they barely know, simply because he's popular and doesn't want to talk to them. The initially lead me to believe the characters were a lot younger than seniors in high school, which I was shocked to learn that they still think like I did in middle school when they're 18. She also seems to be the epitome of vapid edginess, what with her talking about pain being a part of her life, and the excerpt beginning with her saying that her father moved her to the small town she's in for her to die.
