I loved the start of this—Nazareth coming to hide, Veronica brought to die (not sure Leo’s role), her wondering what brought Sawyer to the town—but then it all felt cliche after that. Repetitive phrasing was distracting, and I’ll have to pass on this YA. Didn’t have enough to pull me into the narrative, as I’m not the target audience. I’m sure fans of the age category will feel otherwise! Pretty cover, though!
