With a beautiful cover that sets the tone for exactly what you receive, Echoes Between us seems to be an atmospheric, slice of life contemporary. Within the first few pages, we already see great representation and diversity. The atmosphere is just dark enough to keep me interested and feel like I really am present in this small town (I do tend to love darker, spookier atmospheres). This alone is enough to keep me reading.
