I've loved everything I've read by McGarry and this one looks like it'll be the same. Though it's a short excerpt there's a lot of good character introduction. Veronica really amused me by calling herself an anime character come to life. Strangely enough I was already imagining the story as an anime or manga so that was a cool coincidence. I'm not a fan of the cover but it fits the tone of the blurb well and I'd buy anything McGarry writes since her writing has proven itself multiple times for me.
