2018 has been the year I aspired to give my creative side a whirl. With the help of some wonderful books, I’ve managed to draw something every day. For the most part, I’m using pens, pencils and colored pencils, but I thought I might also like to try paints.
This book walked me through drawing some very adorable animals. They aren’t cartoonish in the least, the resulting pictures look very life like. The artist, Jane Maday, does a wonderful job starting each drawing with simple lines and circles. I can totally do this as circles are easy to make with so many items around my house that can be traced.
This is definitely a book worth working with, and I recommend to anyone who would like to try their hand at drawing animals.
