I love drawing and always have, and animals are always something I attempt because they are so adorable.
I wish this book had a couple of extra steps in it though like getting the shaping of the heads and bodies before diving straight into coloring.
But they have helpful hints on how to paint or color the animals in steps and layers to make them look more realistic.
The variety of animals and plants in the book are wonderful, having flower studies and butterflies as well.
Then at the end she gives you a few hints in how to put these animals in a scene.
I found the bird studies particularly interesting where she also included thing alike feathers and eggs.
Overall, I wish there was a little more detail of the first step but I did enjoy the book and tips and will continue to attempt them
