This book is exactly what I had hoped for after reading the First Look. The art inside is beautiful. The instructions are easy to follow and I am really looking forward to trying some of the drawings out myself. I also really loved the introduction with its beginner's guide to the theory of drawing and shading and painting.
I also think my children, who are very much into drawing and painting, are going to love this book. I will be looking into other books by this author and instructional books of this kind.
In addition to being a great beginner's guide to sketching and painting cuddly little animals, this is a great coffee table book. As I said, it's really beautiful to look at and just flip through to appreciate the illustrations.
