So I loved the finished artwork in the sample, but I'm not sure that it's really a great teaching guide for the average young artist (and I'm not sure a lot of adults are into drawing and painting cute animals--not sure who the target audience is for this book). I saw tracing paper in one of the "lessons" but thankfully they weren't actually tracing a drawing or photo, and I'm glad she explains why. Overall, I'd says it's a decent guide for an adult. The cover is just okay, especially in comparison with some of the beautiful art inside.
