As a kid, I adored everything--art, books, movies and tv, video games, music, food, swimming, etc. Above all, I was obsessed with animals. I was convinced I'd grow up and work at a zoo, surrounded by all kinds of animals instead of just my beagle and relatively long list of (unfortunate) hamsters named Stuart and Margalo (after Stuart Little of course). Naturally, whenever I could combine one of those other interests with animals, I was at my happiest.
At one point, I put zookeeper on the backburner in favor of being an artist. Every week I'd come home with piles of books all teaching me how to draw my favorite animals. This book is one I would have loved to have added to my collections way back then. Just like the cover, this sample was cute, informative, and to the point!
