I struggled a little bit with this book. I thought the story started off strong but I found myself a little lost in the middle when the plot slowed down a little to much for my liking. I did love the cover and think they did a great job with it! The cover definitely made me more excited to pick this one up.
I enjoyed the plot and I found I really liked several of the characters. The magical aspects of the story were exciting and I'm always down for talking about dragons. I think it can be hard to keep the perfect balance of excitement and moving the story forward with quest type stories and I think this was the one aspect I had trouble with.
I am excited to see where this series goes and I'm sure I will pick up the next book in the series when it comes out as the plot definitely pulled me in.
