I have been eagerly awaiting(and still am) the release of Dragonslayer by Duncan M. Hamilton for what feels like forever! The second I saw the stunning cover and read the synopsis I was all in! I NEED this story! It's everything I love! A reluctant hero, excellent world-building, magic, and best of all- Dragons! This was a pretty long sneak peak and it still left me needing more! Just in the sneak peak the world-building and magic system was so filled-out and we'll done. It's hard with Fantasy, especially Epic Fantasy to feel like you're inside the story already in that short of a read so that's an awesome sign already. And the characters! I'm just meeting them and I already feel as if I've known them forever! I LOVED Alpheratz! I loved Gill! I just need to be on this adventure with them already!
