What’s interesting to me is that the dragon is usually painted as an antagonist, though, in this story, I found myself feeling sympathy for him, given what he had lost. I’m curious how Gill will play out because he certainly doesn’t see, the hero one would expect from such a story. Right now, I’m not his biggest fan and I wonder if and how that will change as the story goes on.
