I feel like the first look at this book doesn't do a great job of catching the reader. I know in these types of stories you have to lay out a foundation, but there still needs to be a captivating cliffhanger so you can know what to expect from the rest of the story. I do think it will be good once it really gets started, but it just didn't grab me like I wanted it to.
