The beginning of this book is thought provoking. What makes someone a coward. Is it the dark, is it crazy monsters known to kill. Is it realizing that you should be afraid but hoping for calm. The start intrigues me.

However, I also find the start a bit daunting. It reminds me of Cornwell's The Archers Tale. Which while a good book, was slow and dragged. I hope the same can not be said for this tale.

The cover is spot on. It screams READ ME from across the room.
