I was nervous when I first started this sneak peek, because the title, cover, and description made this book seem kind of like your run-of-the-mill, mass paperback, fantasy novel. I was pleasantly surprised, however, and found myself enjoying the voice and introduction to the story. Hearing from the dragons POV was particularly intriguing. I also enjoyed the glimpse of Gill's character—he reminded me of Endgame Thor. After these first five chapters, I would certainly give this book a chance and, more than likely, enjoy it.
