I needed a good psychological thriller to break up all the holiday books I have been binging on. And I am so happy that this is the book that did that! I was immediately intrigued by this book during the first glance, and I am so happy that I won a copy. This book kept my mind thinking, and kept me engaged with every turn of the page.

The back cover gives a LOT of what the book is about away. And I am happy that I didn’t read it until after I was done. Otherwise- if ruins the book for any potential reader.

Starting off with Alexa being questioned about a murder and then the flashback to being offered a dream job and how it was with her father set the precedent that Alexa is not stable.

This would be a great book club book, or even a buddy read of some sort. There is a lot to unpack with the characters and the timeline of the way things played out for the characters.
