This book was super super suspenseful and really interesting. I was really connected to the characters and hoped things would work out for them. First of all, the cover looked super cool. It was what initially drew me in in the first place, and really established the vibe of the novel.
The book seemed like it was trying to attract a more teenage audience, with one of the main characters being a Youtube star and some other pop culture references. Usually this annoys me, but it came across in a way that didn’t seem cringy or embarrassing. A lot of other similar books the other truly fails to “get down with the kids.”
My only complaint for the book was that many questions were left unanswered. I really hope there is a sequel, because by the end I felt that there were so many plot holes to be covered up. Although this is not entirely bad, as it attracts me to definitely read a potential sequel.
