I like the flow and pacing of this book it’s easy to read and it’s not moving at a pace that feels rushed or forced . The alternating view points between Beth and Alexa are interesting and refreshing as they switch back and forth . I already feel bad for their father because it seems like he’s dealing with a lot and I’m sure he doesn’t have anyone to share his problems with . It makes me wonder how much he is protecting Alexa and why . This book pulled me in and has me wondering where the story will go usually for most post that I read it takes about 100 pages or more to grip my attention which is pretty annoying . Thankfully this seems like it will be a slow burn thriller with a twist at the end somewhere . The twin dynamic is an angle that has been done many many times before but I’m hoping that this other will put a good spin on it and make it a worthwhile read
