This book is much better when you don't accidentally read a spoiler about it. It is not a long book so it is a quick read and the storyline is interesting. Alexa has gotten hired at a marketing firm in NYC and is finally moving out after living with her father. This is a big step for her but her new found freedom is in jeopardy when her estranged sister Beth shows up at her apartment on the day that she moves in. It isn't hard to see where this story is going if you are paying attention to the details but the author does a good job of keeping it interesting. Told in chapters from alternate points of view, the sad story of Alexa and Beth eventually comes out. It was a psychological thriller as advertised even though I knew what was happening. I did not expect the final twist in the story. Overall, this was a fun book to read with good characters despite the short length.
