First of all, I wanted to thank J.C. Bidonde and BookishFirst for this opportunity to receive an ARC edition of Do you Follow in exchange for an honest review. Here's my honest review: No I definitely DO NOT FOLLOW. Holy Moly, what a whirlwind. I was strapped in and ready for almost anything to occur during this thriller but I was not prepared for the events that took place on Page 156... or the Epilogue... The Epilogue was the icing on the confusion cake...with sprinkles!

What an incredible book to breeze through in one day. Honestly, I couldn't put it down and kept begging to learn more about the two sisters who could never quite stay away from each other for two long.

As I read chapter after chapter, I couldn't help but wonder if I was missing out on some much needed sleep and was truly just reading sentences wrong, or if Bidonde had some errors riddled through her writing, because it seemed as though Alexa and Beth were the same person, or one sequence didn't pick up where Beth/Alexa left it... and that's when it hit me. SPOILER ALERTS OBVIOUSLY, but Page 156 was a slap in the face, and I can't believe I didn't see it coming. Bidonde set up Beth so well as being the big bad sister who committed all of the wrongs, leaving Alexa to be the weak and wounded sister always referring to her scar and looking after her lonely father after the ostracizing of one of his daughters (Beth) and the untimely passing of his wife, at her own hand.

I really found myself getting annoyed with Beth's lingering presence in Alexa's brand new apartment, but then would switch it up as I rooted for her protective nature as she sought to push Curt away, for they DEFINITELY were moving too fast in their relationship, but that's what he wanted right? Ah, gosh.

What a wonderful book. As I said, I flew through it and will definitely go back and read it again so I can pick up on all of the little tricks and Easter Eggs that I previously missed with my naïve eye before now.

5/5 Stars and I highly recommend this thriller!
