Twins, loving sisters?

The story is told in first person point of view, in the present tense, which makes it feel more immediate and "real." I was soon concerned for the viewpoint character because she was being accused of murdering her boyfriend. But then again, there is her twin sister. One woman looks like the other, I assume. So will there be a sticky situation for the police, trying to sort out who was doing what and who has a secret motive?
