I went into the first impression without reading the premise and was pleasantly surprised with the first person point of view of Alexa. The story starts right off with the murder investigation and then flashes back to give the reader an idea of the previous homelife and relationship Alexa and her dad have. I enjoyed the setting and voice and think this will be a page turner.
