All the characters are set up interestingly enough, with a solid amount of baggage to delve into. I personally found Beth's chapter more interesting than Alexa's, in terms of both her voice and her storyline. Honestly, the synopsis is more intriguing than the first look so far - but I have confidence that the book could become good really fast! Overall decent first impression that I hope pales in comparison to the rest of the story.
