Way, way too descriptive to me. Yes, I love great descriptive story because it can take you anywhere, but, good god, this was too much. It bogs down the story. Yes, the father is sad when he attends the funeral and burial. But 10 pages of it; before we get to the story, which is again overly descriptive.

So far the most endearing part of the story was the dancing flag man, compassionate and understanding. I actually want to know more about him.

Even though I enjoy stories that discover pass family history and intrigue. This one doesn't do it for me. It's a pass.

I don't get the cover or the title.
