I wasn't expecting to read such an emotional first impression. Even the rainy day setting for the funeral added to the pain of the narrator. This character has so much turmoil to deal with and seems to lack the tools or support from family and friends to deal with his pain. The anxiety attack felt so real and the construction worker's calm and knowing reaction was my favorite part.
