I too am biracial and I'm just fed up with all the novels coming out now where race is the main plot. The main characters entire personality and identity being down to their skin tone is just not for me. I'm more than the color of my skin and I just don't vibe with a character who is nothing more than their melanin. The cover is gorgeous and it definitely would have caught my attention. Even though this book isn't for me I'm sure there's a huge audience who will love it.
