Devil is Fine starts in first person, which is awkward in its writing and not as impactful as it could be. The subsequent pages are just average, the writing not drawing the reader in with characterization or story. Having read the summary of the novel, I find it to be interesting in its premise, but it remains to be seen if the author delivers.
