This isn't the type of book I would normally read, but I saw the author lives semi-locally to me so decided to check it out. Right away you can tell that John Vercher must have experience with loss and grief, it is captured so well. It didn't take long before I was getting emotional. The writing is excellent as well, and the cover looks really cool.
