This feels like it's going to be a heavy book, but one that might also have a sense of humor. Our narrator is talking about life to his recently deceased son as a way to process the grief. I think this is a unique way to get our narrators thoughts and insights on his relationship. I think this book will be full of commentary on grief and identity and racism.
