I wasn't sure what to expect out of this first impression, I thought the premise was interesting but wasn't sure overall. Vercher's writing stood out immediatly. I felt engrossed in the story and could feel that sense of anxiety/dread that came with some of the authors emotions. I felt that we were really pushed forward in the story and am intrigued to see where the narrative goes.
