Overall I can genuinely say I enjoyed this novel. It’s book 1 of the Mercenary Librarians, which alone made me super intrigued to read it. Though a little predictable at times, I thought this post-apocalyptic book was a fun and slightly wild read. It’s full of action, some powerful female energy, and with a romantic element too. I really enjoyed the story and liked the characters at lot! I love Knox and Nina, and appreciated all POV the author chose to share, even not just from the main characters. Now for me, I don’t think it being predictable took away from the story at all because it’s all well written and the characters are that memorable. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the series develops.
