The world building is amazing and detailed as it jumps right into a version of America I never want to actually see...but am all to eager to read about Nina taking it on.
A solar flare absolutely wrecked power grids and crumbled governmental infrastructure. Nina is a librarian, called an information broker which is so cool, and has a job to do. Thing is, these scavengers keep getting in the way.
There's been genetic manipulation and Nina has skills that no librarian, or even few NAVY Seals would have. Which impresses Knox, a super soldier who's tailing her, because he can't keep killing under orders, and Nina might have the answers he needs.
