This book grabbed my attention from the very first sentence. It then proceeded to hook me when the first scene led with a fast paced battle. I could feel the tone of the characters right away, and can already tell how much fun it would be to follow them on an adventure. Speaking of characters; this book has multiple POVs, which is a great addition to any action fantasy novel. The missions and desires of the main characters are admirable right from the start and they seem as though they'd do anything to make sure they are completed. The world building is top notch, with many interesting names and places to learn about, but it's quite easy to catch on to. I'm quite excited to see this team in action, and they're already reminding me of my favorite team from "Six of Crows". I can tell their relationships will be tense, however quite entertaining. One chapter was definitely not enough!
