This introduction was enough to make me one-click this book right away. I enjoy band-of-brothers "doing the right thing" stories, but this book seems even more enticing given it's capable and compelling heroine. I had a visceral reaction to the super-soldier declaring, "She IS a security team." This is what I want in my heroines. A fighter that doesn't need a man to save the day! Hoorah! Knox recognizing that he can't take for granted Nina's impressive skills, or that she's likely to be immensely intelligent, has me feeling all "YES! MORE! NOW!" I can't wait to see how these two come together and work towards a common goal! Also, I'm really intrigued by the world that's been created for this series and curious to see how all of these different areas play to the characters and storyline.
